Darani™ products are manufactured from materials which are more sustainable and better for the environment. The bags are manufactured from Repreve® material which is a recycled fibre made from plastic bottles that would otherwise be headed to landfill.
Darani™ cutting boards are handmade from Australian Camphor Laurel Timber, which is naturally antibacterial due to the natural oils in the timber.
“Darani” means tree; ghost gum in the Dharug language. The Dharug or Darug people are the tranditional owners of much of the land that is today known as modern day Sydney. They share strong ties of kinship and lived as skilled hunters in family groups or clans
