When picking a promotional product it can sometimes feel like there’s a million questions to answer – what product do I want? How many do I need? For how much? And in what colour? The list goes on and on. In the name of time saving, we’ve come up with a list of questions that will leave you with a select few products to choose from.
Who are you trying to reach?
Let’s say you want a product that you can give out at a kids community event, a novelty toy is an appropriate choice. Whereas a premium pen set suits a business conference. If your audience is young choosing an eco-friendly product may connect you with your audience better. Once you know your target audience, picking an appropriate product becomes much, much easier.
What’s your aim?
The type of product you need largely depends on the outcome you’re trying to achieve. If you are trying to increase brand exposure, giving out bulk branded products with a reasonable branding area is ideal. Alternatively, if you’re trying to convey a message of excellence and superiority, then a lower quantity of high quality products is more suitable.
Remember, there are no rules – we can do almost anything.
How will you decorate the product?
Once you have your product, it’s time to choose how you want it decorated. If you’re trying to get your brand out there, nothing makes your message stick like a decoration that makes people look twice – think big and bright. Decorations options vary from product to product, so ask one of our experienced Branded Merchandise Experts what method best suits your product.
Finally, how will you deliver the product?
Again, this depends on who will be receiving the goods. Considering an eco-friendly gift bag (another item you can brand) that the receiver will likely keep and re-use.
All these questions you can ask and try to answer yourself, but why not get some help? Our Account Managers have been helping people choose products for years, so don’t hesitate to contact us for help. We can arrange the delivery to your doorstep, or arrange dispatch to the receiver.
